The Ron Spencer Legacy Foundation team has just launched it’s new YouTube channel, featuring all the tributes, excerpts and montages included in the original Cocktail Hour & Celebration of Life aired first on October 18, 2020. We invite you to watch and share in the memories!
A few alterations have been made to the photo montages to replace copyrighted music materials, including the addition of custom orchestrations from “Dearest: the Mommie Musical,” courtesy of orchestrator and musical genius Sean Baker the Musicmaker. Excerpts from “A Show by George” are included as well, with permission from the brilliant Cabaret creator, George Winters.
Special thanks also to all the friends and family who contributed their memories for Ron’s Celebration, including renowned vocal coach, vocalist and actress Jeannie Logan, who delivered the eulogy.
Ron’s brother, Rick Spencer, passed away due to complications of dementia shortly after his video was made. He was the last remaining Spencer sibling from Ron’s immediate family, and he will be greatly missed.
